James F. Davenport, CFP®
James Davenport, CFP®, has two decades of experience working with business owners and executives to customize financial blueprints and bring about client-specific objectives. His unique ability to see the big picture in any situation allows James to create a process to ensure every detail is addressed.
In 2007, James founded Integrated Financial Group with Sam Clark, Steve Fullmer and Les Barber. The partners selected Osaic Wealth Associates, Inc. as the firm’s broker-dealer in 2013 due to Royal’s open architecture and vast resources.
James earned a degree in finance with a minor in accounting from Utah State University in 1996. He entered the financial services industry the following year and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in 2004.
James has received several awards in recognition of his dedication to his practice. He was named one of the Top 50 advisors for Osaic Wealth Associates, Inc. from 2013-2022. He also received the 2014-2015 Forum Entrepreneur of the Year award from the EO Utah Chapter and the 2007-2012 Lincoln Chairman Council Award. In 2018-2022, he was named a best-in-state wealth advisor by Forbes.
In the community, James is the chair of the board of the Entrepreneur College in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. He previously served on the Utah American Cancer Society Board and has volunteered as a competition soccer coach for many years.
A Utah native, James has a passion for the outdoors. He is a proud Eagle Scout and has hiked and skied down the Middle Teton, summited the Grand Teton and Kilimanjaro, and sky-dived from over 10,000 feet. He also enjoys biking, camping, traveling, reading historical books and watching movies. James and his wife, Molly, have three children.
